Hand-woven rattan over a hardwood skeleton

A bar-height stool with a hand-woven natural rattan back and seat set into a kiln-dried hardwood frame. The weave is tightened over a curved former, which gives the back real spring without any upholstery. Best suited to marble or pale stone islands where the texture can read against the hard surface.
